The Consulate General of Algeria in Brussels commemorates the 81st anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacres

The Algerian Consulate General in Brussels commemorated the National Day of Eternal Remembrance for the 81st anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacre under the slogan "People of Sacrifice... 'Vantasir'" with the participation of members of the Algerian community residing in Belgium and Luxembourg. The ceremony included raising the national flag and listening to the national anthem, reading the opening of the book, and standing for a minute of silence to honor the souls of our righteous martyrs. At the end of this commemorative display, a collection of timeless photographs documenting the sacrifices and resistance of the Algerian people against the crimes of French colonialism was presented.
