This sporting and fraternal event brought together teams from several European countries, proudly representing the Algerian community living in Belgium, France, England, and Luxembourg. A true moment of unity and conviviality, the tournament highlighted the strong bonds that unite the Algerian diaspora around the values of solidarity, fraternity, and mutual respect.
On this occasion, the Consul General of Algeria in Brussels delivered a speech filled with pride and commitment, praising the involvement of Algerian youth in Europe and emphasizing the role of sports as a powerful tool for unity and integration. The ceremony took place in the presence of the local authorities of the commune of Pétange, reflecting the active participation of the Algerian community in the social and cultural life of Luxembourg.
The event was also an opportunity to promote the efforts of the organizing association, which has long worked on charitable and educational projects in support of underprivileged children.
This tournament is part of a continuous effort to strengthen ties among Algerians in the diaspora, while honoring the values of July 5, 1962, the day Algeria gained its independence.
